SL8- Top and Bottom, Fillers and Kickplates | Good Wolf Kitchens
Welcome back to our kitchen build series! In today's episode, we focus on how to achieve a professional finish on the top and bottom of your kitchen cabinets. This is episode 8 in our series, so make sure to watch the previous videos and subscribe to follow along as we transform our kitchen step by step.
🔨 Today's Highlights:
Top Fillers and Cornices: We'll show you how we add a top filler to the cabinets, allowing the cornice to wrap around the front for a seamless look. While we are still waiting for the builders to complete the cornices, we’ll cover the preparation work done so far.
Kickplates Installation: Anja demonstrates how to fit the kickplates, which are set back to create a comfortable toe space under the cabinets. We opted for a brushed aluminium look with a rubber finish. This design not only gives a sleek, professional appearance but also helps keep out unwanted critters.
Team Effort: In this video, Anja, who is 6 months pregnant, handles the kickplate installation while Hannock takes care of the top fillers. For safety reasons, Anja avoids climbing ladders, ensuring the tasks are handled effectively and safely.
