Here are the main reasons: Room to Maneuver: Installing the upper cabinets first ensures you have plenty of room to maneuver and position them correctly without the lower cabinets getting in the way. This prevents the need to lean over or climb on the lower cabinets, reducing the risk of damaging them. Safety: It’s generally safer to install upper cabinets first because they are mounted higher on the wall. Installing the lower cabinets first could create obstacles and make it more difficult to use ladders or other supports safely while lifting and positioning the upper cabinets. Make sure all upper cabinets are attached to each other and the wall to provide stability and uniform alignment. Check Alignment: Regularly check the level with both the laser level and spirit level.
